Sanja Ivekovic
Public Cuts

This book brings together Sanja Ivekovic's public art works which have been conceived and realized from the 1970's until today. Published with Ivekovic's solo exhibition at P74 Centre in Ljubljana.
As we face a time when the idea of public space is confronted by the effects of private capital, and while on the other side of that coin the feminist slogan 'private is political' still has it's raison d'etre, we may rethink notions of public through the work of Ivekovic. Edited by: Urska Jurman. Introductory essay by Bojana Pejic.
